       The iPad 2 is the second generation of the iPad, a tablet computer designed, developed and marketed by Apple Inc. The tablet was introduced on March 2011 during an Apple press event, and was released in the United States on March 11, 2011. It will be released in 26 other countries on the 25th. The iPad 2 has a new dual core Apple A5 processor. 
                                      

        The iPad 2 includes VGA front-facing and 720p rear-facing cameras designed for FaceTime video calling. The new iPad is compatible with a magnetic, dual-purpose screen protector and iPad stand. The iPad 2 is available in two different colors, black and white. It serves primarily as a platform for audio-visual media including books, periodicals, movies, music, games, and web content. Its size and weight fall between those of contemporary smartphones and laptop computers. 

 

        The new iPad 2 comes with the latest mobile operating system, Apple iOS 4.3. New features includes faster Safari internet browser performance, iTunes Home Sharing, enhancements to Air Play, the choice to use the iPad 2 side switch to either lock the screen rotation or mute audio, and Personal Hotspot to share an iPhone 4 Smartphone data connection over Wi-Fi. The iPad 2 from Apple includes a built-in gyro for advanced gaming and HDMI Video Mirroring that lets users mirror their iPad 2 screen on an HD-TV using an optional adaptor. The Apple iPad 2 Wi-Fi Plus 3G version, available via AT&T, also supports HSUPA for enhanced 3G upload speeds.
