Samsung Galaxy Pro, Android Smartphone With Full QWERTY Keyboard

       Galaxy Pro is a candybar-shaped Android smartphone with full QWERTY keyboard. We don’t see Android devices like this being announced that often, even though this form-factor could help BlackBerry users make the leap to the Android platform (or at least me thinks so). As far as I know, there are only two other similar Android handsets – the Motorola Charm and Motorola Droid Pro (and its GSM variant Motorola Pro).

                            

       Anyway, we don’t have all the details on the upcoming device. Samsung hasn’t provided us with the specs sheet, but thanks to the operator Three we know bits of the Galaxy Pro’s guts. It will come with the mentioned four-row QWERTY keyboard, 2.8-inch touchscreen, 3-megapixel camera, 800MHz processor, HSPA and WiFi connectivity, while Android 2.2 Froyo will run the show. In addition, the device will ship with Samsung’s Social Hub Premium.
