Samsung S3850 Corby II, New Generation of Corby with DNSe (Digital Natural Sound Engine)

                
                     



           The Samsung Corby II S3850 is something that the company hasn't really been harping about. We got some wind of the phone's existence a while back and now we've got to know more about the basic containments and the fact that it's currently approved by FCC, and is now awaiting a free ride into the open. FCC were co-operative enough to share specs of the phone such as Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GSM/EDGE support.





          In addition to that, Samsung Corby II still supports GSM / GPRS up to EDGE WiFi speed w/ Bluetooth 3.0 for a quick wireless file-transfer with other devices. Meanwhile, it will be using a microSD card for its storage supporting up to 16GB capacity. It also has a FM radio, in which, its color will be available on Yellow, Pink and White.



          Samsung Corby is well known for its rich features with low budget price rates.This phone is most popular in youth genration.Now Samsung has officially announced the entry-level S3850 Corby II, the successor to the original Samsung S3650 Corby. One of the new features Corby II sports is the T9 Quick Type, which makes typing on touchscreen phones a very pleasing experience.






           Samsung Corby II is very similar to the original Corby considering a 3.14-inch capacitive TFT touchscreen display with a 320 x 240 pixel QVGA resolution, but with a slightly larger screen and some more advanced connectivity features.Features like a touchscreen, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0 (A2DP), multitasking, and java applications will also be available in this smartphone.Although 3G is not there in this phone, Corby II should have included 3G capabilities.




           There's a 2MP camera on the back, and the 1,000mAh battery is rated for up to 9.5 hours of talk time or 25.8 days of standby. Its small in size and measures 109.9mm x 60.6mm x 11.7mm (4.33in x 2.39in x 0.46in) and weighs 102g (3.6oz). The official price of the Corby is not known yet, but it would be priced around Rs. 10k in India.




           The phone has a microSD slot. The battery has a capacity of 1000mAh and should provide up to 9.5 hours of talk time per charge, and opportunities for connection are complemented by Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n and Bluetooth 3.0. The phone is equipped with interface TouchWiz, Social Hub for social networking and support for Microsoft Exchange.
