Samsung Galaxy Mini S5570, Low Price Smartphone with Android Froyo OS

The Samsung Galaxy Mini S5570 is expected to be pretty affordable for what it   has to offer and that’s always a good thing. They are desirable and fill a market gap of small, easy-to-carry devices, which can lift mountains despite their size. Powering the device is an ARMv6 600Mhz, which doesn’t sound like much, but with Froyo 2.2 on top, it’s sufficient for everyday usage.

Galaxy Mini is a 3.2 inch touchscreen device, which comes with TouchWiz UI, 3G, WiFI, GPRS and bluetooth connectivity. The handset will also have a 3.2MP camera, 3.5 mm audio jack and expandable memory option of up to 32GB.

The Midget Mini from Samsung comes with a boring screen. It is not a great follower of its larger cousins when it comes to screen clarity. The resolution is a low 240 by 320 pixels. This may be an inexpensive smartphone, but surely Samsung could have done better. The size of the screen is 3.14 inch. It does have an accelerometer, proximity sensor and swype text input method. There is no manual keyboard and the user interface is a Samsung specialty; TouchWiz. This one is version 3.0.

The memory accompanying the chip is a tiny 160 megabytes. That is augmented by a MicroSD card slot that can add up to 32 gigabytes of extra storage. A two gigabyte flash card is included. Other hardware includes a camera. It is a 3.15 megapixels photo snapper and does not have flash. It takes video at 15 frames per second. There is no secondary camera.

The Samsung Galaxy Mini smartphone has Google talk, Youtube, gmail and more. Since the mobile operating system is the free Android Froyo, it will be able to download apps from the Android marketplace. There is plenty of other software to be able to edit photos, listen to music, edit documents and know which way you are going (digital compass).
The battery has 1200 mAh of power, which is slightly above average. The handset is manufactured in black with colored accents running down the sides in typical Samsung color schemes.
